Texting, consent and Google reviews

Use permission-based messages and honest review requests.

Texting

Messaging depends on your account, carrier setup and recipient permission. Keep consent records and honor opt-outs. Do not upload purchased lists or send unsolicited campaigns. An accepted message is not the same as a carrier-confirmed delivery.

If someone asks you to stop, stop contacting them through that channel. Do not work around a blocked or opted-out number. Contact support if suppression or delivery looks wrong.

Google Business Profile

You can normally keep your existing published number and forward it. Update your public profile only when you deliberately change your business contact information. Keep hours and contact details accurate.

Review requests

Ask for honest feedback from real customers. Do not offer rewards, buy reviews, impersonate customers or request positive reviews only from selected happy customers. Do not pressure someone to remove negative feedback.
